About This Beer
I’ve always heard that “cellar door” is the most beautiful phrase in the English language. But after tasting today’s DIPA, I think I must have been mishearing it all these years. Obviously, linguists must have actually been referring to Scissor Door — ‘cause after just one sip, I can’t think of a more beautiful word.
The experts at Grimm Artisanal Ales loaded this brew up to the brim with El Dorado, Simcoe, Citra Hops, and the thiol-boosting Phantasm, creating a seriously succulent sipper.
Tasting Notes
Waterfalls of mango and pineapple cascade into notes of white gummy bears, while a touch of grapefruit pith on the backend helps round things out. It ends with a full-body finish that’s so pillowy-soft I wish I could take a nap in it.

It was just okay for me. More of a strong pale then a DIPA

It’s really good, but not spectacular. Good juicy note up front but gets hoppier the more you drink. Grimm makes so many insanely good beers that this one feels average when compared to the rest thisffeelwhaverage when compared against them. average when compared against them.
