About This Beer
See What I See Blend #1 is a combination of Horus’ and Anchorage’s Barleywines. Horus shared their Barleywine aged 14 months in a BTAC George T. Stagg bourbon barrel, then aged in a PAPPY 20 Year bourbon barrel for another 14 months. Then they blended with Anchorage’s 4.83 Tavour-rated A Deal with the Devil Double Oaked, itself aged 9 months in Willet bourbon barrels and 8 months in additional Willet bourbon barrels. The results are breathtaking!
Tasting Notes
Chewy currents of caramel-coated dates and sticky toffee swirl with whiskey vanilla and barrel spice on every sip. A massive 16% ABV lurks in the dark, decadent depths.

Great dark fruit with lovely subtle sweetness. Blended well between two breweries and nice barrel aging.

Unbelievable set of barrels. Unfortunately the beer is too sweet for me.

Anchorage x Horus, first time trying a Horus beer. Absurdly smooth barleywine. Chocolate, toffee, dates, maybe a hint of coffee or espresso. Really really good

Started off as sweet syrup but quickly settled into a bloody good, well balanced BW. Plenty of barrel, char, burnt sugar, caramel. Nothing over the top (except the price). No pennies. Excellent.

Fruits were loud and proud. Really sweet. Fig Newton, dates, prunes, good. Made my room spin a lil.
