A Note on This Beer
You’re a hophead. So when your friends drag you to the trendy “artisanal” ice cream shop, you hang behind with your arms crossed and your lips pursed. While they’re overjoyed with their sweet treats, you lament how there aren’t any flavors tailored to your palate. There’s nothing piney enough. Nothing green enough. It’s all just a sugary stomach ache waiting to happen!
But then, through the window, you spot a loquacious lad sporting a newsboy cap and skipping down the sidewalk. He’s hollering in a sing-song voice, “Hoppy Soft Serve beer! Hoppy Soft Serve beeeeer! Whoopee!”
You dash outside, apprehend him, and demand, “WHO are you, and WHAT is this hoppy soft serve you speak of?!”
“Why,” he chuckles, “I’m UT user @Toast T., and I’m Gun Hill’s Soft Serve IPA Series’ biggest fan!”
He describes a magical place called The Bronx, where Gun Hill scoops up all the flavors of the hop rainbow. He says the lactose brings a silky texture, reminiscent of licking your favorite DQ cone. He gleefully exclaims that a massive 10 lbs of Simcoe Hops per barrel makes it burst with grassy-pineapple notes. And with all these big flavors wrapped in a super smooth 4% ABV body, you can drink pint after pint and never worry about a sugar crash.
When the curious hop-loving lad pivots to trot away, a panic sets in. You yell after him, “But where can I find it?”
Without skipping a beat, he bellows back: “Tavour! T-a-v-o-u-r! Get Gun Hill’s soft serve sent right to your door!”
You slip back inside and whip out your phone with a grin. You’re not even sure if the lad was real, or just a figment of your hop-crazed imagination. But you don’t care. You’ll never think of soft serve the same way again.
Tavour strictly supports independent beer. Gun Hill Brewing Company is certified independent by the Brewers Association
