About This Beer
I’ve had some deliciously over-the-top Drekker brews, but this gem takes the cake –– literally! To craft this Black Forest Cake, the Fargo Smoothie Sour specialists loaded it with cherries, almonds, vanilla beans, silky lactose and literal chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream!
Tasting Notes
Every thick, indulgent sip is like a velvety slice of actual Black Forest cake: sweet-tart cherries dripping into chocolatey sponge drizzled with vanilla. Only this sumptuous treat packs a 7.3% ABV!

Thick, fruity, and little to no aftertaste. I didn't taste the cakey aspect but still a good one

Tastes exactly like what it says on the can… but surprisingly (and thankfully) not weird out with any hint of off or fake notes. Drekker is on
another level with these.

lovely cherry flavor and not to tart up front with a creamy and decadent chocolate and vanilla finish

SEXUAL black forest cake with bold chocolate, tart black cherry, and sweet almond with uplifting tart finish. Decadent dessert sour- Drekker is phenomenal with this style.

There was a bit of a metallic taste, especially when cold, but the flavors came together as it warmed a bit.

Nice flavor. Slightly tart and sour but overall a nice flavor. There was a hint of chocolate but mostly cherry flavor. Tastes like true cherry vanilla- fresh and not artificial

interesting but ultimately too sweet for my taste. I wonder if any of the other ’slang du jour’ offerings are more tart.

up front chocolate aroma. initially tastes of chocolate with fruity undertones. fairly sour which I like, though the chocolate was not my favorite. overall good beer.

wasn’t quite sure what to expect out of this but I was surprised in the flavors. maybe I hoped for a bit more chocolate but the tart from the cherry wasn’t too tart. I’m not one to typically get sours but I do like to give them a try every once in a while and I’m glad I did.
