Just when we thought we’d seen it all… Drekker decides to whip up a Carrot Cake Slang Du Jour Pastry Sour. And, as expected, it tastes eerily similar to the actual dessert — because they crafted it with all of the real ingredients!

Tasting Notes

Drekker crafted this carrot cake with ALL the fixin’s, so every bit tastes like a delicious munch into the real thing. Swirls of cinnamon cascade around flourishes of cream cheese frosting, until a touch of tangy-sweet carrot comes through on the finish. Really, it’s almost spooky how much it tastes like carrot cake!

Really sweet. Not like any beer you’ve ever had. You get the carrot at the end and upfront your hit with a hoppy, sweet vanilla. Definitely a one a guy at the end of the night to finish the day. Drekker does it again with a great brew.

I didn't ever really get the carrot or spices. This was mostly just an orange colored, vanilla soft serve-style sour. Vanilla in the nose and some cream cheese up front. Otherwise... I had high hopes but was kinda disappointed.

Tastes just like cream cheese frosting! Super good, but not really sour at all. Very thick… I don’t think I could sip this casually, but it makes a great “dessert”!
