About This Beer

The best of both worlds, lemon bars balance sweet with sour, citrusy with creamy, and soft with crisp. Drekker took all that and said, “Let’s make it a beer!”

The crew stuffed Slang du Jour - Lemon Bar with a ton of tart lemon and added some silky sweetness with pears, bananas, and vanilla soft serve. But they didn’t stop there — they crumbled granola and shortbread cookies into the brew, making sure that the crust of this classic confection was well represented.

Tasting Notes

This proudly lemony Sour shines with juice and zest through each smooth quaff. Milk sugars from the soft serve lend fullness to the brew, while a subtle hint of shortbread catches your attention in the finish.

A lot of lemon. Not sure if I noticed anything else or not... This was my first Drekker, so I slushed it up a bit in the freezer, tossed it in my lidded Yeti cup and headed downtown to the street fair. Tastes like a carbonated lemonde slushy. I feel something more "red" in their heavily fruited line may be more up my alley. Cheers~~

On both smell and taste, from the first sip to the last, there is a beautiful lemony tartness, vanilla creaminess, and a subtle shortbread nuttiness. Indulgent, and certainly lives up to the name.

another winner from Drekker. if you like fruity and creamy, but mildly sour, you'll like the Slang Du Jour line. this one is refreshing and lightly tart, with plenty of sweetness. great porch pounder
