Whole coffee beans are soaked in frigid cold beer for 48 hours giving Modern Times Beer’s Sleepless City a red wine-like richness and an abundance of spice roasted Kenya Nyeri Peabody coffee. Infused with cocoa nibs bittersweet chocolate, this is one of the most robust browns in existence. But that wasn’t good enough for the Modern Time’s label, they pulled even more flavor notes out of the coffee, accentuating the Peabody citrus and spice with a sweet calming vanilla nightcap.

If any brewery was going to make a brown with chocolate-vanilla and coffee notes bold enough to steal the spotlight away from the other dark beers this winter, it was going to be Modern Times. And they nailed it.
