Some things are just better when they’re together: Popsicles and summertime. Puppies and babies. Pineapple and IPAs.

We’re pretty sure Oregon’s Ex Novo would agree - at least with that last part. That’s why they crafted today’s Slice Life Hazy IPA. Brewed with 7lbs of whole pineapple in every barrel, it’s stuffed to the brim with pineapple-y goodness! Crack open a can in a room full of craft fans and you’re bound to hear a chorus of “Oh, yep. Definitely want that!”

Brewed as a special, one-off release for the grand opening of their new pizza joint, Ex Novo only made a tiny, extra-limited amount of this juicy hopsicle. Once the last keg is kicked, that’s it! There’s gonna be a lot of jealous hopheads hanging around your house when they hear about the juicy loot you scored.

To amplify the pineapple’s tropical juiciness, Ex Novo loaded Slice Life with El Dorado and Citra Hops. Layers of dank papaya, mango kush, and bright tangerine burst on the palate as waves of pineapple and passionfruit splash across the taste buds. Chinook Hops lend notes of lemongrass and evergreen that round out the big fruit flavors with just a touch of pine on the finish.

This mouth-watering display of skills is what helped Ex Novo secure their rightful place in the Pacific Northwest craft scene. They stand out in a region dominated by hoppy powerhouses like Breakside and Great Notion. And along with an arsenal of local and national awards and a slew of 4+ UT rated hazies, it’s easy to see why NW Travel Mag calls Ex Novo out as “a class all their own.”
