About This Beer
Starting with a velvety Imperial Oatmeal Stout base, these GABF gold medalists add over 200 lbs of coconut flakes that they toast in-house, alongside a dash of rich chocolate. Next, they age Snowed In Coconut in elite grade bourbon barrels to create layers of oaky complexity.
Tasting Notes
Sweet caramel and vanilla aromas waft from the rim. The towering ABV is well-concealed behind the toffee notes of the bourbon. Added chocolate and coconut fuse with the dark roast malts of the Stout, mimicking all the flavors of chocolate liqueur drizzled over rich and creamy coconut ice cream.

I was sold on the appearance of the proud standing can, the depth of darkness of the stout. It was delicious. All flavors were pronounced in this one.
