About This Beer
When the team at New Image found out their friends and fellow Coloradans at Call To Arms Brewing were closing up shop at the end of the year, they were pretty bummed to lose an integral part of their community. But, they decided to toast to the end of an era with a gigantic, barrel-aged Stout collab!
After pulling nails on several incredible casks, they eventually settled on two blending components: roast forward Imperial Stout aged 60 months in Heaven Hill rye whisky barrels, and a bittterless black Stout base aged 48 months in Laws Secale rye barrels.
Tasting Notes
We’re expecting sublime layers of rye spice and wood char to meld beautifully with a bouquet of raisin, dark cherry, and caramel. Underneath, roasty malts should conjure mocha tones on the palate, with a throughline of pumpernickel bread leading into an ultra-smooth finish.
