A Note on This Beer
Walk through the double garage doors into the barn-sized taproom of Kansas’ Central Standard Brewing and you’ll find yourself deep in the grassroots of the burgeoning Kansas craft movement. Today’s Space Clouds Dry-Hopped Farmhouse is our introduction to the nuanced and balanced brews coming out of The Sunflower State.
Yes, indeed. This Wichita-brewed tart sipper is for all of you who’ve made it your goal to try the best beer every state has to offer. You’ve tried Jester King’s Texas terroir and Ohio’s Jackie Os, but you’ll be the first of your friends to bring this fresh Kansas brewery to the bottle share.
CSB has only been around since 2014 but they’re already putting their stamp on Kansas craft -- they just won Gold at GABF, right alongside Brett vets like Alesong.
They’ve patiently crafted Space Cloud to feature all that Bretty barnyard funk we love. A dry addition of Azacca, Amarillo, and Motueka Hops lends Space Cloud notes of tropical fruit and juicy citrus. This blend of old world Saison and new world dry-hopping is bottle-conditioned, producing a pillowy, cloud-like mouthfeel that makes this 7.9% ABV perfectly palatable.
Snag yourself a bottle to cellar or share, and get a jump-start on your Kansas craft collection.
