When I was a kid, making lemonade usually meant plopping a can of frozen Minute Maid into a pitcher with some water.

At my Uncle Jimmy’s house, however, we got to have the “real thing.” He’d combine lemons straight from the tree, handfuls of crushed blackberries, and real sugar, then serve it over ice. It blew Minute Maid clear out of the water every time!
