A Note on This Beer
The most enthusiastic plant collectors will spend upwards of $1000 on a single houseplant. If you’re not a plant person, that probably sounds insane.
Beer geeks are the same way. If there’s an elusive brew on their must-try list, they’ll jump over any hurdle to get a shot at it!
But today, you hardly have to lift a finger to get a coveted taste of some of the hottest hopjuice pouring in New England. You can snag a stash of Stalk from Proclamation Ale Co. right here, right now!
Brewed with heaps of Citra, Mosaic, and Vic Secret Hops, this juicy Double IPA is a thick jungle of fruity-dank hop flavors. Tender mandarin sweetness coats the tongue up front, with notes of overripe mango and tangy pineapple juice bringing up the rear. On the finish, a green dankness brings it all to a crisp, refreshing close.
Despite the fact you won’t find their hop-packed IPAs like this one outside of Rhode Island, fans and experts alike are putting Proclamation on their must-have lists.
Thrillist even calls them the best brewery in the state, pointing out how “their contributions to the beer world are helping to put Rhode Island on the map in an already crowded New England brewing scene!”
Which makes today a pretty good day to be a beer geek. Because, unlike plant people, you don’t have to spend your rent in order to get a Proclamation rarity like their Stalk IPA.
