A Note on This Beer
A rising crescendo of succulent peaches builds waves of lush, tangy flavor. Honeyed notes of dark and light-fleshed nectarines rise up in a sultry, sweet harmony. The tangy, golden Sour base brings a bright, puckering staccato, smoothed out by the warm melody of American and French oak barrel-aging.
This is Stonefruit Symphony, Alesong’s ode to summer’s beautiful stone fruit bounty, and the refreshing, seasonal beers it inspires!
To craft this Fruited Sour, the brewers first hand-pitted thousands of organic Willamette Valley peaches and organic Columbia River Gorge nectarines. Next, they piled the fruit into two separate oak foeders and poured in their Brett-Saison and Blonde Sour base beers. After re-fermenting each of the Ales on the fruits, they mixed them into one ultimate blend.
The resulting brew is a must-sip of the season, a delicious Ale that sings with a sweet and subtly sour drinkability. And because no two of Alesong’s small-batch sippers are ever the same, this is the first and last time to snag a sip of this beautiful, bountiful brew!
Alesong’s won 10 Best of Craft Beer medals, 8 GABFs, and 8 Oregon Beer Awards, among many other awards and accolades!
