To craft today’s batch of boozy lemonade, Energy City used more strawberries than they ever have in a beer!

If you’re familiar with Energy City’s smoothie masterpieces, you know that’s a lot of berries. And if you’re not, I bet you’ll understand after a silky swig. 

On top of all those fresh strawberries, these fruit-loving brewers use heaps of lemon purée to conjure flavors reminiscent of the lemonade slushies I slurped down as a kid! Each sip flickers across the tongue like warm sunlight, bringing notes of freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar-sprinkled strawberries, and zingy orange citrus. 

Where’s the OJ-like flavor coming from, you ask? Well, it’s not from fruit, this beer already has plenty of that! After fermentation, the brewers tossed in citrus-soaked Citra Hops for flavors of mandarin oranges, drippy pineapple, and luscious papaya. 

It gives this glass of strawberry-lemonade an added layer of flavor, further disguising the 6.8% ABV.
