This Imperial Stout pours black as the ink it’s named for and unleashes aromas of charred sugar, nutty cacao, and fine brown liquor that titillates the senses.
Tasting Notes
On the sip, rich chocolate collides with decadent crème brûlée from the additions of vanilla, while a roasty undercurrent of malt plays perfectly off the sweetness. Bourbon barrel aging imparts notes of top-shelf whiskey and a subtle kiss of wood spice on the backend. A bold 13.5% ABV leaves the silky smooth finish with just the right amount of warmth.
