A Note on This Beer
If 2020 has taught me one thing, it’s that you don’t just give up when things get tough — you survive.
After so many months like this, don’t you think you deserve a beer that’s as tough as you are?
Today’s Survivables is a juicy quencher that revitalizes after even the roughest day. That’s because the craft masters at New Image brewed and double dry-hopped this Imperial IPA with the toughest hops around: Mosaic, Simcoe, and Idaho 7.
I’m not just making that up. The legendary growers at Yakima Chief Hops recently discovered that, of all the hops today, these three iconic varieties retain THE MOST of their aroma, flavor, and bittering character throughout the entire brewing process!
In Survivables, Simcoe and Mosaic bring heavy aromas of orange zest and kush, hinting at the flavors of papaya and sweet clementines. Idaho 7 carries its weight with underlying notes of fresh apricot and white pear that hang in every plush sip. A balancing act of piney resin and floral jasmine leads to a smooth, refreshing finish.
This brew tastes like an orange-mango infused iced tea with a nice 7.8% ABV splash! It’s fierce in juicy hop flavor, but still gentle enough for you to crush a couple of cans without getting K.O.’d.
That’s why any time survivors like us get thirsty, we deserve a juicebomb that’s built as strong as Survivables.
