A Note on This Beer
Cocktail connoisseurs and Jimmy Buffet fans both know that a skinny margarita is made using fresh orange juice and agave nectar in place of orange liqueur.
For the in-the-know, it isn’t about counting calories — fresh ingredients just taste better!
New York’s Equilibrium flipped the skinny margarita on its head with a bright, passionfruity Farmhouse IPA take on the speakeasy favorite.
To make their TABA Riwaka, the brewery sparked an interplay of their slow souring process with wild cultures, tropical Riwaka Hops, gravity manipulation, and minerality. Perfecting their funked out base took countless iterations over the years, but one taste of today’s brew and it’s easy to say it was worth it!
It’s an elegant, celebration-worthy brew that’s dry, slightly tart, and full of funky mango, grassy passionfruit, and earthy honeysuckle with a pop of zesty lime. It’s super drinkable and goes down way easier than a margarita. And, at a crushable 6% ABV, we feel pretty good after having a few rounds.
*This beer is unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated, and will continue to evolve and unveil new flavors over time if properly cellared.
