A Note on This Beer
Anchorage Brewing just turned 10 years old! To celebrate, founder and head brewer Gabe Fletcher raided his barrelhouse to create a one-of-a-kind, hyper-limited, blend!
When Gabe released it at the brewery, Ten Years sold out in mere hours! Luckily, we managed to smuggle a tiny supply out of Alaska before it all disappeared.
To create it, Gabe blended the very best Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stouts and Barleywines in his collection — barrels he’d set aside for just the right occasion. Then, he aged the blend on coconut, Madagascar vanilla beans, cinnamon, and cacao nibs.
Each sip will flood your tastebuds with decadent dark chocolate, oaky vanilla, cinnamon spice, and hints of whiskey caramel. Early tasters are completely losing their minds:
- “Absolutely smashed it out of the park with this one. This brewery is a true gem.” @Herman S.
- “I think this one is better than Blessed. 15% ABV, but seriously sneaks up on you.” @Robert T.
- “Very dark. Very rich. Very delicious.” @Rich
And outside of a handful of bottles in select shops on the west coast, this is the only place you can still find a wax-dipped bottle. Get yours, invite over a friend who will truly appreciate it, and join us in a toast to 10 years of Anchorage Brewing Company.
We can’t wait to see what they do from here.
Thrillist named Anchorage Brewing “one of the best breweries in the game on a national level.”
