About This Beer
Side Project and Toppling Goliath combined Stout recipe to create something brand new, and let it mature for over three years in Willett bourbon and rye barrels. Then, they blended it with two different Stouts, aged in Willett Bourbon and seven-year MGP barrels.
Tasting Notes
The brewers also intentionally left out any adjuncts, so that the sublime layers of wood char, rye spice, and whiskey can really shine throughout the sip. Deep chocolate tones swirl alongside crème brûlée, fig jam, and tobacco leaf nuances, masterfully obscuring the 15% ABV.
