To know your barrels is to love them, and Coldfire Brewing has a very close relationship with theirs. 

The barrel-aging process has been core to the brewery’s identity from day one. Some of their beers will spend months, even years in oak before bottling. 

For this year's Bourbon Council Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout, the brewery created an expression of chocolatey, roasted malt flavors complimented by bold whiskey notes from aging for up to 3 years in bourbon barrels. 

The result is an elevated smorgasbord of rich cocoa, creamy vanilla, toasted coconut, and oaky bourbon praline — backed with a bold 12% ABV! 

This beer has a full body and beckons to be sipped under the stars by a crackling campfire.
