Drinking this is a frickin' experience. Unlike any beer I've had before. Like watered-down laphroaig mixed with lemon and a tiny amount of honey, but in a good way.
tastes like blue cheese and an ash tray. funky enough that I keep drinking it. definitely an experience and savory
just not super enjoyable. Smokes come through but no real flavor overall
Slight funk with a light apricot fruity character. The beer ends with a hint of peat smoky flavor that does not overpower the beer but lingers and increases as the beer warms. Interesting and a different style. Rating B.
The light Smokey flavor fades after a while
There is only the slightest hint of smoke… but it is a lovely, delicate, funky, slightly tart beer - delicious!
Crisp. Subtle. A literal hint of smoke. And a nice, tight tart finish. Perfect for a cool, spring night
I’m both repulsed by and drawn to this beer, which tastes like barbecued lemons.
wonderful and refreshing wild ale
I like this, but a little goes a long way
poured a clear straw color with a smallish white head. very slight smokiness in the noise, along with some grassy grains. taste is slight smokiness with a slight tart, grassy funkiness. stunning!
definite hint of smoke, but nothing like a Rauchbier. pretty easy to drink.
party in my mouth
no hint of smoke that I could discern.
just as described - tart with just a hint of smoke. very original
