About This Beer
To celebrate their sixth anniversary, the NC crew started with a rich base aged 24 months in Knob Creek bourbon barrels before transferring to brandy barrels for an additional 18 months. Then they layered it with cacao nibs, coconut, toasted pecans, and vanilla for decadent depths of flavor.
Tasting Notes
Cascades of creamy chocolate and creme brûlée tones carry through every quaff. Tropical flakes and warm nuttiness melt into whiskey caramel and woody spice underneath, concealing the bold 13.4% ABV.

Chocolate, vanilla, and caramel develops into dark fruit and nuts, the finish brings tons of bourbon, barrel, brandy, and hot
booze.

Not what I anticipated for a german chocolate cake: certainly chocolate but expected more sweet flavors and instead really noticing some heat like a 🌶️ - maybe just BA🤷🏻♂️
