About This Beer
The NYC crew blended two of their favorite vintages — Great Northern #43, aged for 47 months in maple syrup bourbon barrels, and #45, aged 47 months in 10 year Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Both of those beers earned stellar ratings on Tavour, and the combination should be truly spectacular.
Tasting Notes
Look for big fudge flavors balanced by hints of roasty coffee and a touch of bakers chocolate bitterness. Luscious maple should be present throughout the sip, along with nuances of whiskey caramel and just a whisper of oak.
