A Note on This Beer
Today’s Imperial IPA is named after the process of ‘spaghettification’ that happens when objects get sucked into black holes. But how does the brew compare to its namesake?
Challenge #1: Juicy Smoothness!
The Noodle Effect IIPA is packed full of juicy smoothness! The brewers loaded it with oats and spelt for a crazy soft body, then cranked it up with Belma, Vic Secret, and Hallertau Blanc Hops for flavors of ripe pineapple, drippy peach, and lemon curd. And that finish? Daaaaaank!
Drop those same hops into a black hole, and they’ll definitely get smooth as they’re stretched into long, slender hop noodles by unfathomable gravitational forces. Terrifying!
That’s one point for beer!
Challenge #2: Access!
Brews from Drekker Brewing are mighty tough to find outside of the northern plains, but we’ve managed to smuggle a stash away to share. Of course, these guys are so beloved among Tavour members that their beers always sell out at lightspeed!
To witness actual spaghettification, you’d have to travel to the nearest black hole. And, even at literal lightspeed, that would take about 1,000 years. Who has that kind of time?
Another point for beer!
Challenge #3: Crushability!
Even with the big 8.3% ABV, this brew is so juicy-smooth it can quench your thirst all afternoon!
Actual spaghettification? That ends when you’re crushed into a singularity where the normal rules of physics don’t apply, and words like ‘tasty’ and ‘juicy’ lose all meaning. Bummer.
That’s three points for beer and a shutout victory! But, if you fill your fridge with this stuff, be careful who you tell. The Noodle Effect attracts hazeheads like a blackhole attracts… well, everything.
