Tasting Notes

This New York craft crew took an already rich and chocolatey Imperial Stout and aged it in Bourbon barrels for sweet heat. Then they loaded it up with all the fixins!

With every decadent sip, caramel popcorn and crunchy peanuts swirl together like a box of Cracker Jacks! As the flavor rounds third and heads for home, sea salt and pretzel add a savory tinge to the sweetly roasted layers. And with its smooth finish, it slides safely into home plate!

Carmel, salt, booze. With a long, long, finish. This is a very good beer. I could pretty much say it is a perfect bourbon barrel stout. Not surprising given the great beers Other Half Brewing Co. makes. Lovin this beer.
