A Note on This Beer
There are several reasons to get today’s IPA:
1) It’s a highly limited release! Crafted as part of a global movement for mental health awareness, Things We Don’t Say fights the stigma that prevents so many people from getting necessary help.
2) It involves a painstaking brewing process! The recipe began with a fluffy malt bill of flaked oats and wheat, plus Cashmere Hops in the boil. Two days into fermentation, the brewers added Azacca Hops. They finished it by dry-hopping with Cashmere and Azacca, plus a dose of El Dorado.
3) It’s delicious! The result is an easygoing Hazy whirled in notes of orange zest and melon, and backed with whispers of lemongrass and pine resin. At only 5.9% ABV, you can easily crush a couple of these quenchers on a warm afternoon.
4) The beer comes from The Brewing Projekt! PorchDrinking hails this Wisconsin crew as “truly making pieces of liquid art.”
Need any more reasons to jump on this limited beer from these Midwest masters? Here’s one: a portion of the proceeds is going to mental health-related charities!
