About This Beer

The world-renowned Alaskan brewers at Anchorage used loads of Phantasm Powder and Cosmic Punch yeast to accentuate the flavors of the beer’s Strata and Motueka Hop profile. The Phantasm Powder and yeast contain a lot of thiols — the same stuff that produces the fruity characteristics in hops!

Tasting Notes

Crack open a can of Thiolized, and aromas of freshly sliced mangos and apricots swirl on the nose. Take a sip, and swells of tropical passionfruit, ripe pineapple, and plush papaya erupt on the palate!

An acquired taste. The thiols may lend to tropical flavors, but in excess may have different results. I get strange almost sulfur flavor.

Not really an IPA guy but decided to try Anchorage and was surprised by how juicy and citrusy this one was. Little bit of a bitter finish but was still surprised by how easy to drink it was.
