A Note on This Beer
The last time I tuned into an episode of Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsey was calling a cook a “panini-head” after failing to use fresh ingredients.
Honestly though, that cook WAS sort of a panini-head. We all know what stale, over-processed ingredients do to flavor.
That’s why the brewmasteres at Wild Leap used heaps of “straight from the vine” Cascade Hops to craft today’s super-charged Three Harvest Imperial DIPA!
They teamed up with Extreme Harvest AL to get some greenhouse-grown hop cones. Outside of fresh hop season, this is the only way to get newborn buds! And, after a few swigs of the end result, I can agree — fresh is best!
Aromas of zesty lemon and sweet vanilla float from its opaque, apricot pour. Refreshing waves of pithy grapefruit, and drippy orange tease the palate atop soft whispers of pine.
This citrus-packed DIPA is not for panini-heads. Those who appreciate the beauty of high-quality ingredients will snag as much Three Harvest as possible while it’s still fresh!
