To secure the 2-bottle-limit of today’s Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Barleywine, the wisest folks had to put in some serious work. 

First, these booze-thirsty voyagers traveled to Seattle, Washington — home of Reuben’s Brews, the most decorated brewery in the state. 

Once there, they had to pack enough snacks to last them through the day, bundle up in their warmest winter coats, and stand in a line outside of the brewery for over three hours before the Three Ryes Men release. 

But from what we’ve heard, this vanilla-caramel, butterscotch, bourbon-pecan-pie-of-a-BA Barleywine was worth it. Fans on Untappd are raving:
