About This Beer
For this one, the Alaskan haze masters brewed it with copious amounts of Amarillo Hops. Then they dry hopped it with Strata and Galaxy to really crank up the flavor levels.
Tasting Notes
Notes of succulent stone fruit, passion fruit, and ripe mango swirl throughout every pillow-soft sip. A subtle touch of pine resin and grapefruit pith on the backend rounds everything out and totally obscures the 8.4% ABV.

Juicy!

Herby peachy grapefruit smack!
Zips up the sides of the tongue in a rush to shoot down the pipes.
Lightly crisp, lightly dank, medium chewiness...
Prototype of the double dry hopped juicebombs that are so popular today.

Didn’t I say anything Anchorage is crate worthy?

This beer is the epitome of what a hazy DIPA should be. A near-perfect balance between the bitterness and flavors of this particular hop blend, and a silky mouthfeel with the lightest touch of sweetness. I would drink this beer every time I can find it, anytime and anywhere.

Wow!!! For a double IPA this is insanely smooth! I don't even like IPAs and I enjoyed this a lot.

Very solid. A bit more on the front end and I’m in love.

Straight OJ. Well crafted.

Very strong and very tasty. It makes me miss Pliny the Elder beer and this is a sturdy replacement for sure.

Dangerously smooth.

A good balance of malt and citrusy hops makes this an interesting version of an NEIPA.

Best IPA I've had so far, although I am new to IPA'S and have only tried 30 or 40 of them total. This was the cleanest, most refreshing IPA yet after every sip I couldn't wait until my next, loaded with Pineapple, mango, and orange flavors but not overly sweet. Very hoppy but not overly bitter. Like I said its the best one yet and I'm not sure I'll ever have one beat it.

My first can did not taste fresh. No date on the can. Second was better. Flavors more as advertised. Updating score from 2.0 to 3.0.

Very tasty. Enjoyed the first half solo and the second half mixed with the great notion double papaya shake. Very good mix.

I would have rated this higher, as the upfront flavor is great, but it finishes a little too sweet. Enjoyable nonetheless.

Really smooth and easy drinking. I said this was a “quaffable” double IPA, which is not a common attribute for a DIPA. Big thumbs up from me.

Aroma is citrus; reminiscent of orange and grapefruit peel. Flavor has a lot of orange, grapefruit, hints of Orange Julius from the mall. Palate is smooth with the ABV hidden. This is the Prototypical double NEIPA. Very good.

Everything was going great up until the taste , something a little boozy and sweet on my can. Just wasn’t what I was looking for.

For the alcohol content, it has no bite. It’s got some citrus to it. Only a bit bitter. Tasty.

Very good - although difficult to distinguish the Anchorage IPAs - all taste very similar.

Very citrusy and smooth. Not bad, has a very ‘candied’ fruit flavor.

Easy drinking double ipa with some citrus fruitiness and grapefruit twinge in the backend.

Good NE IPA, a little too resinous for my liking.
