Break out the coconut bra and grass skirt, ‘cause we’re bringing you a Milkshake IPA that’s so tropical, you might want to slather on sunscreen before you drink it.

This luau-worthy collab comes from Phase Three Brewing Co. — one of The Chicago Tribune’s ”trendiest breweries” — and the GABF gold-medalists at WeldWerks. Just one taste has us bangin’ on our steel drums!

Tropical District’s thick, peach-colored pour overflows with the juice of real guavas, along with the irresistible creaminess of coconut and lactose. As you sip, notes of pineapples, tangerines, and vanilla also rise to the surface from heaps of lip-smacking Sabro and Mosaic Hops.

Fans on UT are practically roasting a pig on the spit for this 4.31-rated vacation in a glass!

@Mike S. quips, “Holy cow, that’s great!” And @Mario G. calls it “straight FIRE!!!!” Craft fan @Thomas D. even goes so far as to say it’s “maybe the thickest Milkshake IPA I’ve had.”

I'm very mixed with this beer. I Like the fruity taste and it dose almost taste like a milk shake. But I'm not too sure if the lactose and the hops really mix well together.

Great mix. Soft subtle milkshake and a soft orange. Perfectly combined for a smooth mix at 8.2%. Would buy it again and again.

This guava and coconut milkshake IPA is one of the best milkshake IPAs I’ve ever had. It’s rich, thick, creamy, fruity, hoppy…all of these things. It has enough sweetness to taste like guava and coconut but really is less sweet than a lot of other milkshake IPAs. This Phase Three and Weldwerks collab is stelar!!!

Kinda bummed that I only bought two of them. This hit the sweet spot; with that tropical milkshake thickness, a little goes a long way, so it was perfect to share with a couple of friends.
