About This Beer

Tulsi basil is a distinct variety that’s similar to the basil on your spice rack, but with a stronger, more complex flavor. Chew a piece of tulsi, and you’ll discover notes of clove, lemon zest, and peppermint! When combined with locally grown apples that the Citizen team presses in-house, it makes for a symphony of bright and herbal flavors.

Drinking it cold I taste apples , Drinking is room temp I taste Dill. Very nice beer almost like drinking a soft white wine with bubbles

Tastiest cider I've ever had! Very crisp and delicious. Fresh apple taste. The basil is subtle but really helps make this special and balances the sweetness.

I guess I was expecting more cow bell (basil). It was definitely a background flavor. It reminded me of a certain flavored seltzer with a French sounding name.

If you’re a fan of kaphrao, this may delight you – or you just may think it’s too weird for a drink. Me, I dig it. I only wish this had arrived when it was twenty degrees hotter outside as it would be a great summer cooler.

Strong apple taste when cold. Basil is very faint.. At room temp, I could taste the basil a bit more. I liked that it was more on the dry side, just hoping the flavors would be more balanced.

This was a great cider, very light, and the hint of basil was perfect. It would be easy to over-do it with basil being such a powerful herb, they nailed it though.

tasted strongly of pickles with basil and it was not something I was keen on. after trying some chocolate the cider had a weird taste but was definitely better.
