A Note on This Beer
According to a buddy of mine who’s a linguistics professor, the word “turbo” has Latin origins — it means “whirling” or “spinning.”
Today’s TURBOFAN Fruited Sour only spins if you’re some weirdo who likes to twirl your beer cans before opening them (in which case, use caution while popping that tab). But, for everyone else, one sip certainly does send your tastebuds whirling into tangy-tart, bliss!
First, there’s a cyclone of fresh-cut tropical fruit notes right upfront, followed by lush stonefruit and bright twists of tangy citrus. If you find yourself wondering how it tastes so fresh, it’s because Black Project brewed this quencher with real, juicy additions of apricots and grapefruit!
You might want to stock up on extra while you can. Not only do Black Project beers rarely leave Denver, but with the easygoing 5.4% ABV on TURBOFAN, you can whirl away into fruit heaven all afternoon!
