A Note on This Beer
Every time I think Adroit Theory has made their magnum opus of Russian Imperial Stouts, they share something new that completely shatters expectations.
Today’s Two Hundred takes me back to warm childhood memories of cozying up on winter nights and snacking on delightful, chocolate covered indulgences my mom used to make! And it has me rethinking my favorite Stouts of all time –– with this catapulting toward the top!
To craft this awe-inspiring RIS, the masters of the dark (brewing) arts at Adroit started with a smooth, thick, and roasty Stout base.
Then, they conditioned it on mind-bending amounts of goodness! Gooey peanut butter, lavish cocoa nibs, and craveable pretzels, provide unfathomable nutty, sweet-salty depth. Caramelly toasted coconut, treacly maple, and luxurious white chocolate provide a deliciously rich compliment.
Each satisfyingly thick, almost chewy quaff flows with decadent confectionery flavors. It’s like a peanut butter stuffed pretzel dipped in chocolate and topped with a drizzle of white chocolate and a sprinkle of coconut — brewed at a bold 14% ABV!
An Adroit Theory liquid dessert this astonishingly delicious easily takes a place amongst my most loved dark brews –– and it won’t last long! Grab this opulent elixir while you can!
