The team at Aslin first let this behemoth of a brew mature for 16 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Then they transferred it into Weller bourbon barrels for an additional 12 months, allowing it to soak up even more luxurious cask character.
Tasting Notes
With over two years in oak, each sip swells with intricate layers of wood char and whiskey caramel, beautifully accentuating the robust fig and toffee nuances coming from the base brew. All while keeping the boozy 15.75% ABV shockingly smooth.
