A Note on This Beer

Today’s lush NEIPA features a piña colada-like blend of 5 super-juicy hops: Cashmere, Ahtanum, Citra, Loral, and Sabro!

Better yet, it’s also a hyper-limited collaboration between Pondaseta and the Pink Boots Society — a global nonprofit that supports women in the brewing industry.

Flavors of tangy pineapple, zesty orange, creamy coconut, and rich vanilla flood the palate with tropicality. A soft kiss of evergreen and faint pithy bitterness comes through on the pillowy-soft finish.

Pondaseta partnered up with their local Amarillo, Texas Pink Boots chapter to brew, name, and create the can art for Vanna Wight. It’s a brew a long time in the making, too — the team had to put in their Pink Boots Hops order way in advance to make it on time for International Women’s Day!

So, when you’re enjoying this immensely drinkable haze juice, you’re supporting the labors of some major lady brewing power.

We can all grab a can, pour a frosty glass, and toast to that!

With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!

16oz can from Tavour. Pale yellow pour with a few bubbles. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit, lemon with light floral notes. Taste is also light , citrus peel flavors, sweetness. Finishes dry with some residual bitterness.

This wasn’t bad. I’m starting to feel sorry for folks outside the northeast. I haven’t had any pale ales or IPAs that compare to the ones in NJ, PA, NY, and New England. Maybe it’s our water?

Solid beer - juicy with just the right amount of bitterness. Pale Ales are hard to come by these days - this is a good one.

Decent pale, some fruitiness. I’d have a couple.

Flavor comes closer to an IPA than its listed Pale Ale, the lower ABV is appreciated. Rindy (grapefruit, maybe?) with a tinge of bitter at the end, quite tasty. This is one I'd want to try on tap, if I ever get the chance.

Many “New England Style” IPAs make the mistake of going too fruity, but not this beer. The taste is very well balanced between the fruity hopiness and the classic bitter of an IPA. Solid mouthfeel without being too oily, great color and head. Very much liked this beer!
