I don’t chew gum anymore, but if I did, I’d want it to taste just like today’s Strawberry Bubblegum Candy Sour Ale. It’s like if Bubble Yum or Big League Chew came out with a gum just for adults.

And, instead of weird artificial flavors, they recreated those deliciously fruity notes with real strawberries and Madagascar vanilla. 

That’s how the brewers at Seattle’s Urban Family made today’s brew! They also added milk sugar for creamy sweetness, and just a touch of Chinook Hops to crank up the fruity complexity.

But, don’t be fooled into thinking this brew is purely a sweet-treat — the brewers puckered it up with their house mixed culture, so it has plenty of tart to balance out the candied fruit flavors.

Northwest Sour fans can’t get enough. Like @Sarah J. who says it’s “honestly wild. I love it!” Or @Aaron P. who calls it a “delicious experiment!” 

If you want a taste, you have two options: come to Seattle and pick it up curbside from Urban Family’s taproom, or snag some right here and let us bring the candy to you. I know which one I’d choose!
