A Note on This Beer
Making a Lager is risky, because it’s a hard style to nail. Mess up any part of the process, and it’ll show.
Of course, the brewers at Logsdon have never been the type to shy away from a beer just because it’s difficult!
So, when I heard about their brand new Vienna Lager, I knew I had to get my paws on some. Then I tried it, and immediately realized I’d have to get a whole lot more to share with all of you.
This is the time of year when you need a fridge full of refreshing brews to sip in the sunshine, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a tastier Vienna Lager.
Today’s beer checks all my boxes for a classic Vienna-Style Lager. It has lilghtly floral notes from a delicate addition of hops. There’s just a touch of maltiness to tickle the taste buds with notes of bread crust and a whisper of honey.
And most importantly, it’s all wrapped up in a body so crushably crisp you’ll want to sip it all day long. Good thing that’s exactly what it’s for.
If you’re looking for a beer to fill your yard-work-thirst-quenching, hammock lounging, day-on-the-water drinking needs, look no further. Logsdon has you covered with Vienna Lager.
