About This Beer
pFriem and their pals from Le Doubblé Troubblé took inspiration from refreshing, Beaujolais-style rosé wines to craft this unique sipper.
The team began with pFriem’s rustic Saison base. It came with a well-rounded complexity thanks to locally grown malts, Tettnang Hops, and a blend of Saccharomyces and Brettanomyces yeasts, along with time spent aging in French oak. Then they refermented it on LDT’s Oregon-grown gamay noir grapes until it was crisp and bone dry.
Tasting Notes
Each blossom-pink pour of this beauty ripples with vinous aromas and a spritzy effervescence. Take a taste, and bright grape skin and strawberry compote notes dance across your palate alongside hints of grapefruit zest and rose. Earthier accents reveal nuances of wet soil and fresh hay before it culminates in a mildly oaky finish.
