In fact, very few breweries in the world have dabbled with this unique combination of ingredients. 

If that wasn't thrilling enough, Violet Underground Batch #2 is also part of a very limited, UK Rainbow Project collaboration series. Each year, world-renowned breweries pair up to design seven new beers based around a theme for each color of the rainbow. 

For this avant-garde Barrel Aged Sour, FW joined forces with England's award-winning Wild Beer Co. Their mission: create a brew that embodies the essence of the color violet. 

"Nailed it" doesn't do these breweries justice! Firestone partially fermented Violet Underground with native yeasts shared by Wild Beer Co. It's a cross-Atlantic Wild Ale full of fresh raspberry notes, lively cider-like tartness, and candied floral sweetness that disappears into a dry, mouthwatering finish.
