Listermann Brewing knows they’re killing it in the Pastry Stout game. That’s why they’re so selective when it comes to collaborating.
The last collab we saw from them was with Bottle Logic — one of the most traded-for Stout makers in the world. And, that dark dessert won the breweries a shiny GABF Gold medal!
Now, with their Pastry Stout standards through the roof, they’ve linked up with the mighty Mikerphone, who the Chicago Tribune raves are the “hottest thing in Chicago beer.”
With these two goliaths working together on Virtual Collaborosity, we were expecting boozy greatness. And, they delivered with a 11.2% ABV you won’t taste, but you’ll feel.
We also anticipated thickness, but we were blown away by how the breweries used so much lactose, and boiled for over 5 hours to give it a brownie batter chew!
We knew they’d pull out all the melted chocolate stops, but hot-damn! Real coconut, creamy peanut butter, AND rivers of chocolatey goodness — you should have seen our eyes bulge as we sipped it!
If you have Stout standards as high as Listermann’s, snag today’s brew. It’s a stand-out.
