About This Beer
To craft Wasted NEIPA, the world-renowned Alaskan brewers at Anchorage used loads of Phantasm Powder to accentuate the flavors of the beer’s Sabro and Mosaic Hop profile. The powder’s made from freeze-dried Sauvignon Blanc grape skins, which contain a lot of thiols — the same stuff that produces the fruity characteristics in hops!
Tasting Notes
Crack open a can of Wasted, and aromas of freshly sliced peaches and apricots swirl on the nose. Take a sip, and swells of tropical coconut, ripe pineapple, and plush blueberry erupt on the palate!

Really missed a fresh IPA from Anchorage. Looks so smooth and fluffy. Smell really hits you with piney woods, tropical fruit, lots of citrus and stone fruit. The taste is so smooth, juicy, tropical, but never harsh, everything is toned down, great beer!

Smells exactly like plastic packet of peach ring gummies.
Flavor transports me to tall, narrow corridors of kefir lime and black satin.

what a great beer! nose is like ripping an orange in half. hops and wheat in front juicy citrus and slight bitterness on the back. Anchorage keeps up their track record.

Not my favorite ABC brew, but it’s drinkable. Perhaps I’m just not a fan of phantasm powder, but there’s an odd bitterness at the end that’s just short of being overpowering.

so....phantasm powder? interesting. I didn't know what was in this beer until I tasted it and then looked up what was making the unique flavor. savignon blanc grape skin powder. ok. I get it. not my thing, but not bad.
