A Note on This Beer
Hops: Double Dry-Hopped with Citrus, Citrus Cryo, and Wakatu Hops for a quenching, lush Hazy Pale Ale. Flavors: Rife with ruby red grapefruit and orange zest, followed quickly by bright passionfruit. Subtle pine on the finish adds delicious complexity that’ll have you swearing you’re actually crushing a Double IPA!
It seems like only yesterday when Paste Magazine heralded Evil Twin as one of Five Gypsy Breweries Changing the World of Craft Beer.
But that was in 2015, five years into business. Now, after a decade of brewing at top-tier facilities and collabing with big-name breweries around the world like Cantillon, Trillium, Crooked Stave and more, Evil Twin opened their own brick-and-mortar taproom in Queens, New York!
And thank goodness they did, because folks from as far as Pennsylvania drive 2+ hours for fresh sips! And those are just the regular customers. Other craft fiends drop in from all over the globe!
Turns out, when you’ve worked with as many breweries as Evil Twin has, you pick up a few tricks. Or, more than a few. Today’s We Named This Pale Ale Something Catchy may be billed as an easygoing Pale on the can, but it goes down like a flavor-packed IPA!
How exactly did Evil Twin pull it off? That's between the brew crew and their hops. But one thing's for sure: true hopheads everywhere deserve a taste of this game-changer. And unlike those Evil Twin regulars, you don’t even have to drive to Queens for it!
This beer is too new for ratings!
