About This Beer
The brewers aged their malty base brew for nearly a year in a blend of Maker’s Mark and Basil Hayden barrels.
Tasting Notes
This Altbier features big flavors of toffee and dried fruit, cascading like a mountain stream through waterfalls of whiskey and oaky vanilla. The big 9.5% ABV will keep you warm, even in the cool mountain air.

2021 vintage bottle mailed from Tavour in 2022. This doesn't taste at all like the bottle or Tavour describes. It's very sour, & also citrus & hoppy only, not at all malty caramel chocolate coffee vanilla or bourbon. It tastes infected to me. It's a sour IPA if anything.
