About This Beer
The team at Firestone Walker crafted this ‘Central Coast Quad Ale’ using the same base as their legendary Stickee Monkee — that means a big malty body overflowing with hearty notes of spicy Belgian phenols. Then, to really accentuate its intricate flavors, they aged the brew for 12 months in 10 year WhistlePig rye whiskey barrels!
Tasting Notes
Sip it slowly, and you’ll discover hints of caramel and vanilla swirling against flavors of spicy rye whiskey and nuances of date and raisin. A touch of oak on the finish adds a bit of earthy balance, practically begging you to take another sip. Just watch out for that big ABV!

Fruity nose, pear, fresh green grape, cotton candy grape. Taste is bright, sweet, crisp, and complex as a yellow raisin with bite. Lovely surprise.

Didn’t love the first few sips but this one grew on me. A subtle sweetness plays nicely with the barrel notes.

Lots happening in the aroma … Caramel, figs, oak, and vanilla. Taste follows aroma with added notes of burnt sugar and rye spiciness. Fun adventure.
