A Note on This Beer
Once upon a time, New Orleans was the Brewing Capital of the South. Then Prohibition happened, and Macros took over.
Now, ‘Nawlins is swingin’ back into craft beer — and it’s all thanks to breweries like Urban South!
Off-Beat Magazine credits these U.S. Beer Open medalists for revamping NOLA’s craft beer landscape with their flavorful brews and passion for craft. They’ve become the city’s largest brewery in just three years, regularly drawing Bourbon Street-sized crowds into their industrial-style taproom.
No pushing or shoving for you though, ‘cause we’ve gotten our hands on the newest generation of Cajun craft — Urban South’s Who Dat? Golden Ale.
And it’s actually the only stash of this brew leaving Louisiana. Now’s your chance to get a taste of America’s next big beer city without even putting on pants!
Who Dat? is as easy-going as the Big Easy itself. Pilsner Malt and Flaked Barley create a silky mouthfeel, while hybrid yeast fermentation adds refreshing Lager-like crispness. Citra and Hallertau Blanc Hops douse the golden-yellow brew with orange, ruby red grapefruit, lemongrass, and bursts of white grape.
So grab a couple extra cans to share with your craft-loving friends. As Urban South keeps getting bigger on the Southern craft scene, soon everyone’s gonna wish they had your kind of exclusive hookup!
