You don’t have to be a Game of Thrones fan to appreciate this Castle Black. Held within the walls of luxe Willett Rye whiskey for 10 months, the brewers at Pondeseta crafted their Imperial Stout with decadence in mind. After the near year stowed away, they bottle conditioned the brew, making it just right for your cellar!
Tasting Notes
Aromas of huckleberry and pepper start each sip, like a deep, full-bodied red wine. These flavors give way to opulent notes of melted fudge and velvety-soft vanilla, all wrapped in a roasted maltiness. The complex whispers of decadent molasses candy and delicate spice linger on the palate, dancing with the 12% ABV.

Deep and syrupy with a viscous mouth feel. Lingering notes of rye bourbon and rich malts. Carries a sweet boozy bite. Good now and I can imagine, great with even more age.
