About This Beer
For this Starry Noche variant, the crew started with a hand-picked blend of their absolutely legendary Medianoche Stout aged for 23-34 months in a variety of freshly-emptied bourbon barrels, including six-year Old Fitzgerald Bourbon, 10-year Eagle Rare Bourbon, and 12-year Weller Bourbon. Then they conditioned it all on more than three pounds per gallon of toasted coconut flakes and raw coconut chips before topping it off with toasted pistachios.
Tasting Notes
Each sip of the breathtaking masterpiece swirls with notes of rich dark chocolate and intricate nuttiness. Brown sugar, coconut, and crème brûlée nuances carry underneath, leading to a sophisticated finish with teeming with gorgeous vanilla oak and bourbon character.
