When you do get a chance to taste today’s beer, if you ever do, I swear you’ll feel the same awestruck wonderment as spotting some mythical mirage.

Well, turns out there are no otherwordly powers at work with today’s beer. Black Raven applies pure award-winning skill to coax out layers of hop potency in this 8.9% ABV Imperial IPA. We’re talking GABF, WA Beer Awards, Best of Craft Beer Awards...the list goes on.  

It sure feels like magic though, when you experience the full-on blast of citrus right from the get-go — the punch of six different kinds of hops!

It starts with a big, bursting welcome from passion fruit and melon thanks to Simcoe and Amarillo Hops. This gives way to fresh grapefruit and lemon from Centennial and Citra Hops. It finishes with a bite of spice and pine from Chinook and Nugget Hops.

Black Raven only brings back Wisdom Seeker occasionally by popular demand, so we pounced and got a tiny stockpile to share with you. This is a rare item that’ll impress any beer geek who glances in your fridge.
